YMCA
So today I recieved an unexpected phone call from the Greensburg YMCA. I applied online for a summer position about two weeks ago, but I didn't think I would recieve a phone call. But they interviewed me on the phone and I set up an appointment for another interview this week. I applied for this job because I thought it would be a good idea for me to gain experience teaching kids. So hopefully the interview will go ok and I will be able to work part time over the summer.

Congrats on your new job! The YMCA is a great place to work. Some of my friends from back home work at the one in my hometown and they really love it. And your right it is really going to help you with working with kids. Good luck on your interview!
Im sorry that the job opening was not what you expected. I agree it would have given you the job experience, however if thats not what you want to do then it is good you turned it down. I hope you get your job at the arc. You pretty much live there anyways =)
